Music is awesome. And we can’t live with out it. Everywhere we go, we hear music. There are so many different kinds of music. There’s rock, punk, metal, pop, classical, heavy metal, alternative, and many other kinds. WWE uses lots of different kinds of music for there events. Last year, they used To Be Loved by Papa Roach as there theme song for Monday Night RAW. This year, they’re using Burn It to the Ground by Nickelback as there theme song. WWE has also used Hero by Skillet for the Royal Rumble. WWE also uses a lot of other songs for their wrestlers’ entrance. The Undertaker’s theme song is Rest In Peace. D-Generation X’s song is Are You Ready. And Triple H’s song is The Game. WWE has also used Monster by Skillet and You’re Going Down by the Sick Puppies for two of their pay-per-view events. Amanda (8th grade) says “Music is beautiful in every way.” She also says “Music is a great way to escape from all the stress.” Personally, I agree with her. Music is a form of expression. If you are angered, happy, sad, touched, depressed, excited, anxious, loved, music is a great way to express yourself. |

This break was full of movies and family time. This Thanksgiving break I saw New Moon with my two sisters. They didn’t really like it but I did, especially when Taylor Lautner took his shirt off. My sister said that he is a chunk of man meat for a seventeen year old. After the movie we went to eat lunch and we went home.
On Thanksgiving Day my brother was the chef in the kitchen. He made cornbread dressing, Mac and cheese with peppers in it, and the turkey. Our neighbors came over and we talked a lot before we ate. It was time to eat and the turkey wasn’t ready yet! My brother felt bad, but we ate dinner without the turkey. We decided to wait until after dinner and when the Longhorn game was on. The turkey was very good and my brother felt better now that everybody loved the turkey.
A few more neighbors came over and watched the game with us. I went with Hannah to let her friends’ dogs out and play with them. We had a lot of fun playing monkey in the middle with the dog when she got a phone call for us to go home. When we got home my annoying five year old neighbor wanted to “play” with me. I did her makeup and we talked for a little while and she went home.
For the rest of the week we ate leftovers and went shopping a lot. I saw this skirt, but my sister wouldn’t let me buy it. Later I brought my mom to the mall and she liked the skirt, but they were sold out. We will buy it later. My Thanksgiving break was fun, but not long enough for my time. |

This Thanksgiving, I flew up to Dallas to go to the Cowboys football game. It was so much fun! I went with my family and about 60 other people. We got there early to the stadium and the people we went with had an RV, and we went to the parking lot and had a big Thanksgiving lunch! It was so yummy! We went into the stadium about an hour before game time. My brother and I got to stand by where the players run out to the field. I took a lot of pictures and I got Jerry Jones signature. Then, I went up to my seats and we were on the 50 yard line! We had really good seats! The game was so exciting. At half time, they had a band performance! It was Daughtry. I love them! They were amazing. Then in the second half, the team played pretty good, and they ending up winning! Everyone was so happy! After leaving the stadium, we went back to the RV and watch the Texas vs. A&M game! I am a huge longhorn! So I was so happy when they won! Go longhorns! Then when it was all over, I went back to the hotel and crashed! I was so tired after such a long day! Going to thanksgiving games is a blast! I’m definitely going next year. Thanksgiving is all about being with friends and or family. And that’s what I had, on my Thanksgiving, it was so much fun! |

This Thanksgiving break, I spent all week doing whatever I wanted to do, which meant I slept in most of the day, but come Wednesday, I spent all day with my family. This Thanksgiving I was thankful for having a family, having great friends, having lost of food, and the creation of Rock & Roll. Then I stuffed my face with food, I ate a lot of turkey, stuffing, bread, mashed potatoes, and had a great time. Then I watched 7 Pounds, great movie. I had a great Thanksgiving. |
